Help us fund a Iraq/Afghanistan monument at Eisenhower Park, East Meadow, NY.
Raised as of 6/6/2022- $81,014.71
This monument will go to honor those who served in
Desert Storm/Iraqi Freedom/Enduring Freedom-Afghanistan.
The monument will have a life size bronze/pewter battle cross in the middle to remember those whom have past.
There will be a male and female soldier saluting you as you walk up to the monument and these soldiers symbolize the veterans who have served in these wars and are here today.
There will be two granite slabs with the image or Iraq and Afghanistan with Desert Storm, Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom written inside the maps.
Project spearheaded by Nassau County VFW Council.
